Apparently Billie Eilish ate a lot of ‘LUNCH’ this year

Disney/Chris Willard

Billie Eilish once again sat down with Vanity Fair to talk about her year — something she’s done every Oct. 18 for seven years.

“So much has happened, it’s nonsense,” Billie declares, noting that she set streaming records, released a new album, went on tour, adopted another dog and — oh yeah — she and her brother FINNEAS won their second Oscar, for “What Was I Made For?”

Billie then looks back at last year’s interview, where she detailed what she wanted to happen in 2024. Among the things she said she wanted to be doing were “making friends” and “having good sex.” Today’s Billie gave 2023 Billie a big thumbs-up, laughed and said, “Got there!”

“It’s just been a year filled with friendship,” she said. “Honestly, that was like the thing that I wanted to do, and I really did it and it was awesome. And yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex.”

The fact that Billie admitted that is notable because in the October issue of Vogue she said, in response to unexpectedly being outed, “I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever. And I hope that they never will again. And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”

Billie also discussed the fact that people still seem to think that “any man that I’m near” is her boyfriend, while any photos of her with women — even those that are more “incriminating,” as she put it — will only make people say, “Billie and her best friend.”

“It’s so weird,” she noted.
