Jack White to perform at ’Ringo & Friends at the Ryman’ CBS concert special

Jack White will be linking up with legendary Beatle Ringo Starr for an upcoming CBS concert special.

The “Seven Nation Army” rocker is among the performers on Ringo & Friends at the Ryman, which will be taped over Jan. 14 and Jan. 15 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The mostly country lineup also includes Sheryl Crow, Mickey Guyton and Emmylou Harris, among others, who will join Starr in performing his solo and Beatles classics.

“It is always a thrill to play the Ryman and this time we are going country!” Ringo says. “[Producer] T Bone [Burnett] has put together a great show. I’m excited to hear my songs done in a country vein and to play with this incredible group of musicians. It will be two nights of peace, love and country music.”

The show will include an all-star performance of “With a Little Help from My Friends,” which will raise money for the American Red Cross’ California fire relief efforts.
