Radiohead ended their live hiatus at the end of 2025 with a European tour, which marked the band’s first concerts in seven years. As exciting as that was for Radiohead fans who got to see the shows, it sounds like the band members had an equally fun time.

“It was great to revisit songs that we always felt were good and to find lots of other people now agree with us,” guitarist Jonny Greenwood tells the U.K.’s The Times. “And it was really nice to be playing and listening to [frontman] Thom [Yorke] again.”

“I’m surprised that the tour actually happened and that we all enjoyed it so much,” he adds.

Does that mean another Radiohead tour is imminent? Well, not exactly.

“Venues get booked so far in advance,” Greenwood says. “To do another we would have to decide now, and even then it wouldn’t happen for 18 months.”

Greenwood also says it was “strange not to be doing anything new on the tour,” as Radiohead hasn’t put out a new album since 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool. When asked about the prospect of a new Radiohead record, Greenwood replies, “I’ve no idea.”

Meanwhile, Greenwood is nominated for an Oscar for his score of the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie, One Battle After Another. As for whether he’ll attend the March 15 ceremony, he says he’s “not sure.”

“I went last time and they took me aside and said, ‘We’ve got something for you,'” Yorke recalls. “I was expecting a lavish goody bag. They gave me a chocolate shaped like an Oscar.”
