Billie Eilish, Gigi Perez and Beabadoobee are among the notable queer artists receiving nominations for this year’s GLAAD Media Awards.
The annual awards, which will take place in LA on March 27, honor fair, accurate and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues in music, film, television, gaming, podcasting, journalism and more.
In the category of Outstanding Music Artist, Billie is up for her Grammy-nominated album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. Other nominees in that category include Adam Lambert, Elton John and alternative country artist Orville Peck for his album Stampede, which includes “Death Valley High,” a duet with Beck.
Meanwhile, Beabadoobee is nominated in the category of Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist, as is “Sailor Song” artist Gigi Perez and UK group The Last Dinner Party.
