Coldplay details ’Moon Music’ visual companion, ’A Film for the Future’

Disney/Randy Holmes

Coldplay has announced the full details of A Film for the Future, a visual companion to the band’s latest album, Moon Music.

Previously teased in the lyric video for the single “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” A Film for the Future is a 44-minute collage of different pieces created by over 150 visual artists from 45 countries.

“Each artist was given a handful of music snippets from Moon Music and asked to create corresponding visuals,” a press release explains. “There were no rules or guidelines, and no knowledge of other artists’ creations.”

A Film for the Future will premiere Jan. 22 on YouTube, and will also screen in-person in London and Manchester, England, and Seoul.
