Billie Eilish and Lola Young were among the winners at the 2026 Grammys.
Eilish won song of the year for “Wildflower,” and used her speech to criticize U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.
“No one is illegal on stolen land,” Eilish said.
Young took home best pop solo performance for “Messy.”
“I don’t have any speech prepared,” a surprised Young said as she took the stage. “Obviously I don’t, it’s messy, do you know what I mean?”
Young was also nominated for best new artist, and performed “Messy” as part of a medley featuring every one of the best new artist nominees, including sombr and The Marías. The best new artist award ultimately went to Oliva Dean.
The Grammys will air on ABC in 2027.
