Hayley Williams has apparently been working on a secret project.

The Paramore frontwoman guested on Apple Music 1 Thursday and debuted a new song with a band called Power Snatch. It’s a collaboration with Daniel James, who produced Williams’ latest solo album, 2025’s Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

The song is titled “Assignment,” and you can hear a snippet of the track via the @paralandmore fan account on Instagram.

Following the official debut of Power Snatch, the Parafamily got to work and uncovered a Power Snatch Instagram page that dates back to July 2025. Additionally, an apparent Power Snatch Bandcamp uploaded a song called “DMs” in December.

Of course, Williams has engaged in this kind of secrecy before. Ahead of officially releasing Ego Death, Williams uploaded every song on the album to her website and locked them behind an email code.

While we wait for more info on Power Snatch, Williams will launch a U.S. solo tour in support of Ego Death in March. It will mark her first-ever solo tour after her original first run, scheduled for 2020, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
