Oasis has announced a vinyl reissue of their 2000 album, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, in honor of its 25th anniversary.
The LP is due out Feb. 28, exactly 25 years since the original album was released. It’ll be available on limited-edition silver vinyl, plus blue and purple marble vinyl exclusive to the Oasis webstore.
To celebrate the reissue, Oasis has also released a new lyric video for the Standing on the Shoulder of Giants single “Go Let It Out,” which you can watch now on YouTube.
Standing on the Shoulder of Giants was Oasis’ fourth album and found the Gallagher brothers experimenting with more psychedelic elements. While not as successful as the records from the band’s ’90s heyday, it did still debut at #1 on Oasis’ home U.K. Official Albums Chart, while “Go Let It Out” charted on U.S. alternative radio.
Oasis’ big reunion tour, which will mark the first time the formerly estranged Noel and Liam Gallagher have shared the stage together since 2009, kicks off in July.
