Yungblud recently announced that he’s bringing his BludFest event back for 2025 — but if you can’t make it to London, try waiting another year.
This year’s BludFest, featuring the “Fleabag” rocker, Chase Atlantic, blackbear and jxden, will take place June 21 at the Milton Keynes Bowl in England. But when asked by NME if the show will someday take place outside of the U.K., he said, “2026. It’s happening. Confirmed. BLUDFEST international is coming, 2026.”
He hasn’t yet revealed who’ll play the Icon Slot this year, but last year he said one of his dream bookings would be The Cure.
Yungblud also shared that he’ll have new music ready for next year’s festival. He tells NME, “The new album centers around the idea of self-love and self-reclamation that allows people to feel seen, and emit this light … for the first time in my life, I think I’m starting to actually like myself. I’ve always written from a period of hatred towards myself. I made a f****** rock opera double album that has no limitations towards imagination.”
Hyping the project, he said, “Nobody’s f****** ready for what’s coming. This is the master plan. BludFest is going to have new music. It’s going to have a new world, a new adventure to go on. It’s going to be the first time we play anything new in the U.K. The album’s f****** bonkers.”
